We are making final tweaks based on your feedback on the Beta for New Reporting Engine that for creates reports and Invoices. We plan to deploy the final beta in production on Saturday November 14th. For the users that have not yet tried the beta version, we request that you take this opportunity to try it out and let us know if you see any issues. Again, our goal is to catch all issues before we roll out the beta into production.
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:
1- Please click here to access the BETA version, ignore the browser warning. Please note that the data is the same as production data but the reports and invoices are running on a BETA server. There will be no difference in any of the numbers between the beta and production system.
2- Run the reports that you use and look for any undesired differences. Note that now you can obtain outputs in multiple formats: PDF, Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, HTML, Postscript, and CSV. Don’t forget to check CSV output if you use it.
3- View existing draft invoices and final invoices. Again, look for any undesired differences.
4- If you have the option, create new draft and final invoices. Note any undesired differences.
Benefits:
· Multiple report formats: PDF, Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, HTML, Postscript, and CSV. You select the desired output before you run the report.
· Improvements to statement of account on invoices
· Crisper invoices and better readability for reports
